Pumpkin Carving

A successful Pumpkin carving event was held on 27th October 2014 in TB12A

37 people came including the committee. The room was so full I don’t think we could have squeezed anyone else in. There were pumpkins everywhere! There were tuition videos to watch if needed, Halloween tunes, and videos of exploding pumpkins. (Don’t try that at home!)

Every kind of kitchen utensil you can think of was used to deseed and carve the pumpkins and there were some fabulous designs created from Jack Skellington and Cheshire cat faces to more simple pumpkin faces and even words. The carving skill was certainly something to be seen.

We also collected an enormous amount of seeds – a carrier bag full to be exact. These have been dried so we will be able to plant pumpkins in the Garden next year.
