Our tastiest social of the year! We met at Lakeside restaurant on Monday evening to share the dishes we’d prepared with each other. Everyone brought something, whether it was a curry, pastry parcels or cookies.
Thankfully Garden Soc’s good friend, Lakeside’s head chef John Water, was on hand to heat up food and even prepared a dish from the restaurant’s new menu to add to the eclectic mix of dishes.
We asked for donations to Oakleaf, a local charity supporting vocational training (including horticulture) for those with mental health issues.
