We’ve had some problems chitting our potatoes (which is just the fancy name given to the process of leaving the potatoes on a table to grow shoots before planting them), but we’ve finally put in our first batch!
The raised bed packs have arrived! And they’re looking very good. Now we’ve just got to build them!
The onion bed was looking a bit sad, so we clean out all the weeds and rubbish from the top
I got 99 problems, but an un-mulched fruit bed ain’t one! This took our head gardener (pictured) an inordinate amount of time to do, but it was so worth it!
I used wooden kebab skewers to prop up our fast-growing avola peas. It’s a cheap and temporary measure until we get around to building something more substantial out of bamboo
